Amen! I do like the music (sort of ), but I love the message. What is Holder's malfunction? The laws are on the books. Enforce them or change them. Take your pick. Trying to stop them from being enforced? Not an option. I don't care what your position is on this issue. Being a member of the executive branch, charged with "upholding and enforcing the laws", going into court to get an injunction to keep a state from doing so? Not a case I would want to argue. Rant over.

Now for professional analysis (I will forgo the "Madden pen") . Basically this is a tough one, and thats not playing dodgeball either. This case goes to the heart of dual soveriegnty and state vs federal power. Are states obligated to enforce federal law, or may they decline? May the feds, by executive command, order them not to do so? What if a state decides to pick and choose which federal laws it will enforce? May a state act in proxy for the feds if they refuse to enforce their own laws? These are all tough questions and they will all be argued out. Honestly, they would make any law student crap their pants if they got even one of these on a final exam. One thing I will guarantee is this. However the SC rules (and it will probably go that far if Brewer wants to push it) is that this case will have implications far beyond immigration. Holder may have just been trying to win latino votes in 2010, but he pushed a big honking red button in terms of federalism and state's rights. I'm not sure he is astute enough to realize it, but politics aside, he is playing with live ammo here on issues that have the potential to cover pretty much every aspect of state versus federal law and powers.

And now bho's faithful lap puppy minion, Holder, is threatening to sue AZ for racial profiling - even tho there is no complaint.

I think every state in the union should have their AGs file suits against the .gov, one at a time, for failure to follow the various laws the .gov violates, and then file more, and then more. 50 states times 100 suits each adds up pretty quick, and will certainly divert the DoJ's attention a tad.

I am so tired of this crap coming out of DC these days. And I am tired of weeping for my country.
