Here's one that is just cool to watch, Tim, could you program that ?  ;D

Nope!  And it doesn't appear that I'll be learning the format anytime soon either.  That's another reason I'm job searching!  They hired another college boy to work with our lone machinist and program the more complex stuff for the HAAS and the Proto-Trac.

We don't make anything that would require the multi-axis table and 5 axis cutting heads anyway.

Our machinist primarily uses the HAAS and a vintage Bridgeport knee mill like TAB bought.  He sets the Prot Trac for stuff he can fixture and walk away.

Tim, I hate Proto Trac.  ;D
I can do my own programing with G codes, but I just can't get the hang of that conversational programming. (granted I have far less opportunity to work with it )

TAB, lets have details !
Is it strictly manual ? Or does it have the servo's etc for auto feed ?  DRO ?
Rotary table ?  I run a Bridgeport every night and I don't get to have a rotary table.
Don't need it for the parts I run, but still ....    ;D  I do however have an auto indexing  ( Haas )  head on it so  PHHHT on you  ;D

GunsRUs, check this out.  ;D

Yea I've seen that before, but I don't know much about Machining. So it doesn't do me much good. :(  But if you want to teach me Tom I'm willing to learn! I'd love to build my own AR's!! ;D ;D
