Ah.. more proof in the pudding. I've said it time and time again. Pound for pound, you can't beat a GLOCK in terms of price, quality, durability, dependability, and accuracy. I've not found another pistol for in the "$600 or less" price range or even many in the $1500 or less range, that can beat it. I've owned Sprindfield XD's, Smith & Wesson M&P's (only thing close), and Ruger P'series. I've shot lots of others. I can consistently shoot my Glock's, as good as or better, on many occasions, than Sig's, H&K's, and yes many 1911's. And Glock can do it all the while, saving you $300-1200 in the process. Yeah I know, it's not smart to reload with them. But if you want to, all you have to do is change the barrel with an aftermarket one that has a little more chamber support. It's that simple. I'm not a 1911 hater either. They are so expensive that I can never seem to afford one. And they are more "service orientied", meaning that if you do drop them in sand or mud, etc you got to clean them extensively. Glocks .. well they can take many dirty situations right in stride... and just keep on going. I've shot thousands of trouble free rounds through my Glocks. And, they are "still going."
