Let me explain what I mean by the title above.  Going to the shot show this year would be a depressing experience for the following reasons.  First, this is an election year and the Democratic Party is going to take back control of the White House.  I am very upset about that, but there's nothing I can do.  I only have one vote.  In the Democratic debate on January 15, old Tim Russert brought up the subject about gun control.  He asked Hillary and Obama about what they would do about this issue.  They both stated that they would reinstate the assault weapons ban among other things.  Getting back to the shot show issue.  I would hate to go out there and see products and firearms that I will never have access to.  I am going to be legislated out of.  That pisses me off.  I for one cannot vote for John McCain.  I just can't do it.  He is a Rino, a Republican in name only.  He would sell the firearms industry out in a minute for political expediency. We have only one avenue open to us is to hold on to the House and the Senate as it is currently.  Or to gain more seats for the Republicans.  For example, if the Democrats gain a 60 seat majority in the Senate, it is all for the races.  Basically, they can do whatever the hell they want.  Old Charles Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, and Harry Reid would waste no time in pushing through the most restrictive gun control measures we have ever seen.  That would include a complete ban on semi automatic rifles, shotguns and handguns without a grandfather provision.  Basically, that means you have to turn them in.  Well, I am not with it. >:(

Turning my guns in would not be an option.
You can never have too many guns, or too much ammo

Doesn't the 2nd amendment say something about militias and keeping the government in check?  So, what do we gotta do?  Isn't prevention of a Marxist a good enough reason to start one, watch out ATF or join.  (p.s. This is MOSTLY tongue in cheek, please do not send ATF, FBI, or NSC to my house.  VIVA LA RESISTANCE!)

I have tools.  What are these 'guns' you speak of
