Incredible!  The water was smooth as glass.  I assume they stop all traffic several hours before to let it calm down.

If you watch the left side of the screen at 041 seconds into the video, there is a small cabin cruiser that looks like it gets hit by the rooster tail dead on.   Bill T.

This race takes place in the Savannah River...The bridge the boat goes under is the Talmadge Bridge that spans the river and connects Georgia to South Carolina.

The bridge the boat goes under is the Talmadge Bridge that spans the river and connects Georgia to South Carolina. 

One of the most amazing aspects of the video is how fast that bridge disappears from sight after that boat passes under it.   Bill T.
