Seen this at a gun store and just could not walk away from it.  Just had to buy it.  I could not help myself, honestly.

Blued Smiths and 41 magnum two of my favorites.41 magnum is one fine caliber( accurate and potent).
Go out and shoot that baby and it probably won't be your last 41. While it languishes in the shadow of the 44 magnum the deer are just as dead and the X ring just as punched out. Those wood Targets sure look better than any rubber too!  ;D

Michael; you are so right.  Always looking for an early model (1964 to 1965) Model 57 with original coke bottle grips.  If it ain't broke, DON'T try and fix it.

All The Best,
Frank W. James

Gunman,
Great choice, it’s hard to find unadulterated N frames; especially non 44 mag.’s. I have many N- frames both 6” & 6 ½” all 60’s – 80’s vintage. These revolvers are extremely overlooked, mostly due to the caliber, because of the popularity of the .44 mag. There are many great wheelguns in this category. The .357 mag’s., models 27 & 28 in barrel lengths from 3 ½ - 8 3/8, the 41mag’s, model’s 57 & 58; the 58 is I think the most over-looked N-frame, is like a model 10 M&P on steroids, and one of my favorites. And then there are the model’s 24 (44 spl.), 25 (in both ACP & Colt) and others and of course most were available in Nickel, thus adding an additional level of collectables.
Will you be using it for target practice, hunting or home defense? If for target practice I, like most shooters, like the Keith-style SWC. But if you’re keeping it around the house for the creepy-crawlers I prefer the 175gr over the 210gr bullets.
