« on: July 22, 2010, 06:11:12 PM »
Yes, I'm shopping. I got a little cash to burn through and am probably gonna try to find a cheap plinker (probably a .22) or maybe a cheap project gun. Dont know what yet, but the shopping is half the fun.

So what is on your want to buy list???

1911 or Winchester model 70 in 270. More than likely the 1911 so I can write it off on my taxes for work purposes. With holster an magazines and magazine pouches.  ;D

I was discussing something like this with a friend last night. Although I have everything I need, I would really like, for old times sake, a European (i.e without the Montreal or Portugal slide markings) fixed sight FN/Browning P35 in poor cosmetic shape.
This may have to be some way 'down the road' as I have a vacation to pay for soon, but if anyone sees one for sale I'd appreciate a 'heads-up'

Best Wishes, Mike.

Let's see

Blackhawk in .30 carbine (preferably 3 screw)

threaded barrel and can for the Mosquito

M1 .30 carbine

convert my current .30 carbine (not a real M1) to shoot 7.62 x 25

OH, and a scout scope for my .454 lever gun

;D

(NONE of which I can afford right now)

Kel-Tec RFB

Maybe that bulldog conversion for the M1A

Winchester 1876 musket style lever action in .30-30 - can't afford the .45-60 ammo for a real authentic one

Remington R1 1911

Having just come off the unemployment lines, I can't afford ammo at this moment, but you didn't ask what we can afford, just what we want

Wouldn't the stealthy super ninja-ness of the "silencer" be negated by your endless profanities and slide racking brought on by that little bastard's refusal to ever work properly? ;D
