Looking For A Job
« on: July 26, 2010, 11:12:40 AM »
Tony started the day early having set his alarm clock
(MADE IN JAPAN) for 6 am.

While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking,
he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG)

He put on a d ress shirt (MADE IN SRILANKA), designer jeans
(MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA)

After cooking his breakfast in his new e lectric skillet

(MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator

(MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today.

After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio

(MADE IN INDIA)

He got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) filled it with GAS

(from Saudi Arabia) and continued his search for a good paying

AMERICAN JOB.

At the end of yet another discouraging a nd fruitless day checking

his computer (MADE IN MALAYSIA), Tony decided to relax for a

while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL), poured himself

a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE

IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying

job in AMERICA

AND NOW HE'S HOPING HE CAN GET HELP FROM HIS

PRESIDENT (MADE IN KENYA )

Sounds like Tony, needs.

Buy American clothes,
Get an American car
Drink California wine,
Get some American leather sandals,

Try to focus on Buying American.

I know it can be unavoidable with some items, but IMHO, I do make an attempt to limit foreign made goods.

I try like hell but it's getting more and more difficult to buy exclusively American made anything.

Especially since the wife can't keep her ass out of Wally World...

And I don't care for bourbon or Jack Daniels...... ;D

Drink Michigan wine.  We need the commerce more than Kalifornia.

Drink California wine

NY wines seem to be OK.
France, Ca, NY, raises the question "aren't there any normal places producing wine ?"
We know the CIA tested LSD on the Bay area, and France has always been messed up, so they have an excuse.  But what happened to screw NY up so bad ?
Come to think of it I'm surprised Boston, Chitcago, and DC do not produce wines.   ;D
