I will still rely on the .380 as my cc piece. It's funny - it seems that half of the guys go one way on this topic and the rest another - (at least in my group) Unfortunately it wont be my last encounter, and I will feel comfortable with it as my cc, typically in my situation engaging something more hostile requires planning and foresight, and you bring what you need to do the job. Its the old saying "don't bring a knife to a gunfight" and its extremely true. I know of several situations where a couple of guys with 45s ran across full auto machine guns - and they barely got out of there with their skins, while at the same time a buddy of mine was dropped with a compound bow (of all things) while carrying his standard 38. You just never know. Its become an extremely strange world.
