FQ you have met one of Gods little wrecking machines. There is video of them making griz and wolverines back up. My old man use to say you could put one in a 55 gal drum and it would eat every bad arse creature you threw at it and it would be ready for more.

Gotta disagree on the badger vs wolverine match up Bulldog.

Wolverine are bigger, can break bone and quite well known for being the meanest little critters in the woods.  The badger is a close second but they're omnivores where as the wolverine makes his living killing and eating anything he finds, including other wolverines.  It's why they live alone most of their lives, they don't like their own kind.

I'm biased because I'm from Michigan but the wolverine wins in a close fight...

Sorry, I've hit bison and grizz with a .45! Both WILL go down with about 4 hits to the head!  Badgers may be a BADASS but they'll go down with enough head hits!
McGyver who shoots .45 ammo that's rated at 1150fps, but usually carry's a .357 that'll put the MEANEST bull down with 2rnds!

Lord! That would giive anyone with functioning eardrums nightmares. Are we sure this is the same civilization that gave us Bach and Beethoven? Honestly, between techno and rap, I'll take rap any day and no amount of mushrooms will change that. :P

Are you sure that .45 was a 1911. I'd read that the guy shot the bear 9 times. I wouldn't really say that a .45 necessarily stopped the bear either. The bear was charging his girlfriend and he fired rounds into it's side. The bear turned tail, back into the brush, where it bled out. It could have easily decided to munch on the pair before dying.

Maybe not a 1911 but it appears to be a .45 ACP...  My 1911 carries 8 +1..
