Yes, That is a Babs Boxer quote.
There is no alternative but to hang these A holes since they just don't learn.
It's simpler just to kill them and get more than to fix the ones in office.
I predict another late night vote with bribery. Like Health care.

The Obama administration, unable to push an immigration overhaul  through Congress, is considering ways it could go around lawmakers to let undocumented immigrants stay in the United States, according to an agency memo.

The internal draft written by officials at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services outlines ways the government could provide "relief" to illegal immigrants — including delaying deportation for some, perhaps indefinitely, or granting green cards to others — in the absence of legislation revamping the system.

It's emerging as chances fade in this election year for a measure President Barack Obama favors to put the nation's estimated 12 million undocumented immigrants on a path to legal status, and as debate rages over an Arizona law targeting people suspected of being in the country illegally.

The 11-page internal memo, written in April to the agency's director, says: "This memorandum offers administrative relief options to promote family unity, foster economic growth, achieve significant process improvements and reduce the threat of removal for certain individuals present in the United States without authorization."

It goes on: "In the absence of comprehensive immigration reform, USCIS can extend benefits and/or protections to many individuals or groups."

The memo drew a backlash by Republicans who called it evidence that Obama is looking for ways of relaxing immigration policies without political consensus to enact a new law.

"The document provides an additional basis for our concerns that the administration will go to great lengths to circumvent Congress and unilaterally execute a backdoor amnesty plan," said Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, who obtained and circulated the memo. "The problem remains that if you reward illegality, you get more of it."

Grassley led a group of conservative GOP senators who wrote to Obama in June asking him to promise that the administration wouldn't use its authority to "change the current position of a large group of illegal aliens already in the United States."

Both parties get way too much money from those who benefit from illegal labor. Both want the Latino vote. In my politically aware lifetime, I've had 5 Presidents. Reagan, Bush senior, Clinton, Bush junior, and now Obama all failed to enforce the law. I am sick of it. If you build it, they will come. True enough. If you put those who hire them in jail, it won't be built and they won't come. What part of this requires new laws? What part is racist? What part isn't cheaper than the welfare drain from illegals? Why, if we can keep Philip Morris from selling marijuana cigarettes and bar tenders from serving the underaged, because the risk is greater than the reward, can't we keep business' from hiring illegals? Its not hard. Run some stings like those used on bars, and put some folks in jail and sieze their companies. Dyo it a few times and the message will be sent. With no jobs, the illegals will go elsewhere. Let them be Canada's problem. >:(
FQ13 who will vote for a President of either party who has some stones on this issue. "We can't deport 12 million illegals"? Watch me try.

It seems Arizona has someone who has the stones to do it. Maybe she should try.

Well isn't that special?  Our "President" wants to make it easier for those who are here illegally to "receive benefits", yet someone like me....hell, not LIKE me, ME, dammit.......who has paid into the system their entire working life has to jump through flaming effing hoops in order to collect the benefits that are THEORETICALLY intended for me.

Ok, time for more blood pressure medication.
I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

The only thing racist about the Arizona law is the attitude of the protesters.  I have read nothing in it that identifies any race, sex or nationality.  It is the protesters that are attaching race to the law, the protests and the lawsuits.

Oh, and the fact that so much of the attention on immigration focuses on Hispanic and middle eastern shows a total disregard for the safety and Rights of White, Black, Red, Yellow, and any other colors I may have missed.

Tom, I agree ... How many engineers do you have working for you these days?  A gallows of the size you need will be like rebuilding the World Trade Center  >:(
