Laid Off

My Daughter in Law was laid off Friday morning. She was a shipping coordinator for a small oil field supply company. Can we say moratorium? Expect higher gas prices for Christmas.

Never one to sit back and feel sorry for herself, she immediately updated her resume and arrainged some interviews with some of her former competitors. The only thing stopping her is that they're closed on Saturdays.

Apparently she's not a liberal, since she's taking control of her own destiny instead of waiting for the gubmint to do it for her.

She is in my prayers without a request.

God bless her for taking control. Oil field here in ND is going great guns - banner year last year. OTOH, it is open land, nothing of note between there and the North Pole, so winters get a mite chilly. That's why we have arctic grade Carhartt's.   ;D

Good Luck  Oil Field here in West Texas is iffy at best right now being that we are hated by the powers that be.

Sounds like your boy picked a good one CJ.  Getting back on the horse and diggin in the spurs is always a great way make things happen.
