I don't know if I really need this air freshener

I don't know if I'd want the "Eau de Hoppes" scent around all the time. BUT... I DO get caught quite often happily sniffing the open breaches on my handguns.

The wife "lets" me clean my rifles on the back patio. In the heat.... That's alright, it's a labor of love. I do keep asking her to dab some on her body,,,

The look I get is well,,,,,.....priceless...

Its the Gods honest truth, but a wet dream (or two) was all I could expect as she was so far out of my leauge she was playing a different sport.

I don't remember if I posted this, or just PMed it. When I was a freshman, one of the senior cadets invited me to her place to tutor me in math as I pretty much was failing. I get to her apartment in Rosslyn on a rainy day. She'd come in from a run to the liquor store after cleaning her personal AR and hung her bomber jacket by the door. She smelled like wet leather, rum and Hoppes. I don't remember a word she said.

The "sniffing the breach" comment brings up a funny, but very sad story. The year I graduated, I rented a room in a house owned by a DC cop. He came in late one night. An officer had gone missing and it was all hands to look for him. Turns out our he had parked in an alley way, disassmbled his Glock, and used the barrel as a crack pipe. Apparently, he ODed and lost consciousness. DC's finest. . Now guarding a mall near you.
