Taurus 738 Stainless less than Blue

Okay, I'm missing something with this ad. 

The price on the Stainless 738 is $269 and it's in stock.
The price on the Blue is $289 and it's Special Order.

Since I just bought the blue one two weeks ago, I know they have both in stock.

I may have to drop by an see if I can get a small rebate - or free magazine.

Not sure, maybe an "I" "T" glich??? Blued guns here in S. Fl. are the minority. The SS is the way to go in the swamp.....

Seems somebody got it a little backwards....

Could be they are overstocked in the stainless so they discounted it to get them moving....left the blued one at the usual price since it is selling, but marked it Special Order to encourage more stainless sales.

Standard retail procedure. When in stock, move em out.

I don't think AO has a problem selling any of the popular pistols like the small .380s.   As I was buying my Taurus.   I mean as I was checking out.  The guy behind me was buying the LCP and the guy in the next line was buying a Kel-Tec.   Plus there were several people at the display case looking at the various models of .380.   I do a lot of estimating about things and I'd bet they probably sell upwards of 30 or 40 of these puppies a week.

I think it's a typo....but I think I'll drop by next Friday and just see.   Who knows.  I'll mention the great review I gave the pistol here on the world renowned DRTV forum and see if they give me something.  (it is all about me, right?)     ;D
