Good deal Jaybet! I say we do it at Haz's house, as the neighbors are used to it and the cops don't even bother responding anymore. ;D

You never know....I might just afflict myself on ya sometime. Bye the way...all these pictures of the Blues Brothers reminded me. We did a blues festival around here and I met Alan Rubin...one of the horn players from the band. Nice guy.
I can still hear Belushi on Briefcase Full of Blues..."Alan Rubin-  ALAN RUBIN!!!"
He and Bones Malone are doing a Blues Brothers tribute show. I hear the front men look just like the real guys.
I got the blues as my companion.

Here at Universal Studios Orlando they do a Blues Brothers show in the back lot.  They have several different 'teams' that do it but there is one team that just nails them.  Look alike, sound alike and there is also a lady that does Aretha who is dead on in looks and voice.

Honestly, I think John Goodman has a better voice than Belushi, but "Blues Brothers" was the only time I saw him and enjoyed it, I did not like him on SNL.

That "Blues Bros" Minnie the Moocher is actually Cab Calloway (yes I know it is from the movie).

Oh c'mon, his Linda Tripp was classic. Harsh, but classic. ;D

FQ, You may be thinking of some one else, Maybe John Goodman ? I think Belushi died before all that.
His Brother Jim was good in Salvador, and I've heard he was great in that one where he was a teacher.

Minnie the Moocher, is more "big band", that and Opera, I don't care for, Sweet Home Chicago is more like what I prefer.

I worded that badly, the way I meant it was

Honestly, I think John Goodman has a better voice than Belushi, but "Blues Brothers" was the only time I saw him Belushi and enjoyed it, I did not like him Belushi  on SNL.

Further, I quit watching SNL when I enlisted in 77, so I have no clue who did impersonated Linda Tripp, but I think Belushi had died by then .

No snark is understood  ;D
