From what I've been told if you have a Business tax number you can get in,It's the Shooting,Hunting OUTDOORS Trade show, they have camping and other outdoors gear as well, not just guns

I've used my Nevada based consulting business to attend SHOT '06 & '08.  My only advice is don't solicit by wandering from booth-to-booth handing out resumes or literature, don't but in if you see luminaries such as Michael grabbing a quick interview with an industry poobah and DO build up the crowds when Todd Jarret, Jerry Miculek, Doug Koening and all the others we get to see on the Outdoor Channel give a demonstration.

Do fondle the merchandise, but wipe the drool off for the next fellow.  Smile and say hi to everyone, hold the door for elders and enjoy the heck out of yourself.  Try spending some time in areas you haven't...if you've been strictly a handgun guy, take a day a dedicate it to long guns or shotguns.  Expanding your horizons gives you a new lease on life every time you try it.

I made it a point to stop by the Outdoor Channel booth every day to ask if Michael was in.  Just wanted those guys to know that he's a valuable property.

See you in Orlando next January!!!

No offense, but it's the hundreds of "tourists" and "tag-alongs" that make the Shot Show (a trade show) very difficult for those of us that find it necessary to attend as part of our obligation to our employers.  We have to be there working and aren't just walking the aisles ogling.

Try the NRA show.  Same stuff at a show set up specifically for the general public.
I don't want any part of your change.

Except that I can drive to Orlando in a hour so I can afford to go.  So you'll have to put up with another "ogler".

No offense taken but all trade shows are this way.
