Here's something to think about, "Who would be wearing those blue helmets ?"
It will not be Ukrainians, or Pakistani's, it will be American Troops and cops. They aren't all "Oath Keepers".
If it were to come right down to the line, are you prepared to shoot a US soldier, or cop, regardless of who's orders he is following.
Not only are most unprepared for that but they never will be. Gangs of looters we will shoot at, put them in Blue or Camouflage and suddenly they are irresistible.

I imagine most law enforcement in that area would side with the citizens.  Federal Marshals or Militia might be less likely but I'd guess most would either support the citizens or sit it out.

The US Military or UN....  While it might be unlikely for them to join the citizens as individuals, they would if their unit commanders gave that order.  I'd expect them to not follow any orders to fire or harm US citizens in this case.

Does the UN have any policy about sending citizens of a country into that country in a Police Action against fellow citizens?
If US Soldiers are not in the mix, I'd not want to be wearing a Blue Hat.

Actually they would be a good source of 5.56x45mm ammo.  Precisely why your "varmint rifle" should be chambered in 5.56 and not .223.  Might be an important distinction in some situations.

The problem are the the employers who hire them, no jobs, no reason for them to come here.
20 years might seem extreme, but what about 6 months for each specific violation, served consecutively.
