They don't call them "Wrist Rockets" anymore, but we used old lug nuts, they tended to curve past 20 yds, but we used old 5 gallon buckets, and it would "thump" right through them.

Interesting if he placed a "T-shirt" over the gel, if the same result would occur. Wouldn't matter to a potential BG, that was a big dude.

Than there was Rufus. Stretchin it old school...... ;D

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Man!  Rufus sure bought back the memories.  I grew up around a bunch of Rufus-like old guys - not much for bragging, just getting the job done.  Most were soft spoken WWII vets that were very hard working, generous, unassuming heroes who had been through some very rough times.  And even as old men you knew that they could, and would, still beat your ass into submission if you riled them.

He has to much time on his hands.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. In a country where guns are unavailable, but sling shots are, why not? That's how nunchuks were invented and used. Originally for controlling cattle, but developed into a defense tool.

It should also be noted that a ice cube is a great anti critter projectile.  won't kill bigger stuff, and it goes away on its own, so no one will know what you did.
