Supressors... Is There Nothing They Can't Do?
« on: September 08, 2010, 06:55:49 AM »
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle

now if they made them for women you would be able to cook a roast on it....

now what do we need for the corner   think i might be a while....
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

These guys have way too much money if they are going to treat a suppressor that way. Call me crazy but with the tax stamp making mine just shy of $1000 each, that's too much money to f**k around with. Of course I treat all my weapons like crown jewels. I want them to work when I REALLY need them to.
I am a member of my nation's chosen soldiery.
God grant that I may not be found wanting,
that I will not fail this sacred trust.

I'd guess one in every 20,000 in use aren't homemade.  Stop by ANY machine shop durring a smoke break on the right day and you'll hear allll about the best features.  1st shift knows little about it, 2nd shift you'll hear some, but 3rd's!!!  They've done more experimenting / research and develpment than the military ever dreamed of!

Say what you like about all the law's.  Do you think guys that drink a fifth every day on luch break really care?

Cool video.

Hell, I can do that with just the barrel of my Mini-14 and 2 thirty round mags.   :D
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

THAT IS REDNECK INGENUITY!!!! ;D

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

"Warranty department"
Yeah, I have a fouling problem, and Im having a hard time cleaning it".
"Ok is it power residue"?
"No, its bacon grease".
"Bacon grease sir"?
"Yeah, I wrapped the supressor in foil to cook bacon and...hello? hello".

When I saw the smoke coming off that tin foil I was reminded of the hot wings thread, for some unknown reason.   ;D

So THAT's where tactical bacon comes from.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington.
