Sandy Springs.............uh...

Oh heck, let me check that email again........

Got it...  Sandy Springs Practical Shooting League

It's the new range, near me in north Fulton county (Atlanta).   I'd heard that someone was going to organize an affliated USPSA club at the new range.    Got an email today and it looks like  I will be a charter member of the newest club.

We're talking 15 minutes from the work and 20 from the house.   Cool. 

Let's see.......go over and practice on Tuesday at lunch.   Shoot a 2 stage match on Thursday night.   Go to the rifle range on Friday.....life is good.

Isn't it hard to shoot a pistol with 3 fingers and a thumb? I can see a rifle would be ok, but doesn't your fur get caught in the trigger?

First meeting, first match.   New range, too.

12 of us (uspsa) signed the charter and formed the club.   One non-joiner shot with us.  Several people at the range came in to watch.

SORRY:  Nobody brought a camera.

We did 4 stages.   
El-Presidente PLUS.   4 targets, 10yds.  8rds-reload-8rds-reload-8rds
11 targets in V-shape with  mandatory portal
8 targets in V with hardcover in the way
Bill Drill (6 shots 5yds)   (I "A"ced in 3.6seconds)

It was our first match and the range folks wanted it kept simple.  Plus we had to move in all our targets.   We'll add more cover and some real "run and gun" next week.

Alf, I like to check myself against all shooters and until you get a larger group that works but later you should only compare to those in "Production" to be fare to yourself.  Are you using the scoring program available thru USPSA?
