Respect and Dedication

Today I received an e-mail that painfully roiled my spirit and my sensibilities like raking a horse with sharp roweled spurs.  It was a photograph of the Flag of the United States of America spread out on a sidewalk and bearing many scribbles and slogans that had been scrawled upon it.  While I am absorbing the scene, I am asking myself, could I stand by and do nothing in such an instance?  My reply to myself, to my Compadres' and to all the United States has stood for in just my lifetime...  I don't think I could stand by and let this happen in my presence even under threat of federal law enforcement arrest as the written accompaniment to the photo indicated...  I don't think so.  Only those who have paid some level of cost to preserve her and our way of life can fully understand the depth of my dedication to this great Nation and the National Ensign!

I fully support your right to desecrate the flag. On the other hand, if I'm sitting on the jury for the guy that kicked your sorry ass, well, all I can say is that he wasted money on a lawyer because he will be home in time for lunch. ;D

Never mind the decision of a liberal SCOTUS, There is no such thing in the Constitution as "Freedom of "Expression".
The phrase comes from the UN , it is in the "Declaration of Human Rights".
That other Norman Rockwell crap, "Freedom from Want" and "Freedom from Fear", are also nonexistent, propaganda put out for WWII.

People pay money to ride zip lines.    These people get to do it for free!    I haven't been down that one, but heck, I'd do it.   It would be nice if they could raise the money for a second safety line though.
Will work for ammo

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
