Its not just the falling on the gun aspect, its also the fact that you basicly have to put yourself in a hammer lock to draw the gun.  Thats not a good thing.  Chances are very good that if you need to use the gun you will be less then 5 feet.

Not to mention that it is not that hard for someone to take your gun from your SOB holster if they know it's there.

Warm weather carry.

+1

Without wearing tacticool pants with thigh pockets, calf pockets, and look like military issue, how about pocket pistol holsters, or IWB rigs for shorts, and a tucked in shirt, with a snub or slightly larger semi-auto?

Like the idea of spare mag, speed strip ideas, if possible also.

Although winter is coming,... in S. Florida, I think I wore "pants/jeans" 3-5 times.

A review of those concealable shirts? Good, Bad,???

Look forward to the new series MB. Thank you.

That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I no longer can enjoy the weekly schedule due to my "free" cable where I live.  I look forward to the day when the ODC replays the episodes on-line

CC is a personal thing that takes practice with whatever means with which you carry.  Regardless of how or what you carry, reloading is a constant issue.  How 'bout various means of carrying spare mags, loaders, speed strips, et al.... and the techniques required to employ them.

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

I would make note of the fact that your pre-CCW wardrobe is likely obsolete, and you have to get used to wearing roomier garments.

I would suggest de-emphasizing speed of draw (which drives us to the impossible concealed rig) and emphasize avoidance or running away like those knights from Monty Python.

Unconcealed (open carry) is the best way for the common man/woman to achieve speed, and unfortunately that's a different subject / reality.

Beach weather concealed is a man bag.

Don't limit the CCW methods to just on-body holsters....bags, packs, & other off-body carry have their place....

Think that the CCW community can make the "man purse" fashionable? I bet Coach and Gucci et al. are salivating at the thought. ;D ;D ;D
