BTW speaking of crashes made me think of the japanese porche and ferrari one.

Theres two videos, can beleive they both survived although one had horrific burns

Thats because they base Bathurst on UN rules and have to allow a certain amount of imports in other wise its declared discrimination.
Dunno whats worse Fords in the top ten or a boat load of ragheads off the coast, least with ragheads you can say theyre terrorists and shoot them guilt free.

Speed TV usually shows AV8SC races!  That is one I missed.  I don't believe they are shown live but taped.  They are my second favorite series behind a Japanese series...can't remember exactly what it's called but they can destroy a car quicker than they can bow to the emperor and are sooooo agressive.  Speed used to show it also but haven't seen it in a few years.

This was without a doubt the absolute worst! Gordon Smiley died at Indy in this 1982 practice accident. Ground effects cars were just coming into their own back then, and Smiley was warned not to try and drive it like a dirt track car. He did, and the car broke loose in turn 3 at over 200 MPH. When he corrected it hooked up again and shot him head on into the wall. He never felt a thing.  Bill T.
