Thanks for all the input!  I still haven't decided because I found out I qualify for a $100 rebate from FN for the SLP.  It makes the price difference about $250.  Not a ton of cash when owned over 20 or 30 years.

Wise man. I count nickels if its a toy. If I use it every day? I really don't care what it costs (as long as I can foot the bill) as when you divide the costs by the days used? It just doesn't matter.

Looks like a fun zombie slayer to me!  ;)

I have no idea, HAVE newer semi-auto's achieved reliability of pumps?  When thinking of home defense, or any application against another human reliability wins out over fractions of a second between shots...   :-\

BM, I was talking to a guy up here who claims Semi Auto's HAVE gotten as reliable as pumps.
Not really surprised, they've had what ? 120 years to get it right .  ;D
