Did you do it for competition? training? or one helluva range trip?

Hope you reload.....

What were you shooting with?

Just a long overdue stress relieving trip out back. No, I don't reload.
Breaking in a new carry gun. A RIA 1911/A1 Officer/Commander in 3.5in. W/CrimsonTrace grips.

I have enough confidence in it to carry now and it'll eat ANYTHING I can throw at it!

Sounds like the break in is complete.

Really like RIA, both rifles and pistols.  They are on my short list.

Thanks for the good review.

luckygunner.com and sportsmansguide.com are having some .45 sales to restock. ::)

100rds 230gr. FMJ, $36.00.

I have run MBI ammo through my M+P 40, FN9mm, and S&W 1911 .45 with not even a hiccup.

For stockpiling and range time, it's a great buy, and American made.

No I don't work for any of these companies, just enjoy good ammo deals when they are around.

Good shooting.

It took me a while but I started liking RIA about a year ago, since then I now own 2 rifles and 2 pistols of theirs. The only trouble I've had so far was with the .22 semi-auto rifle. (It doesn't like to feed ANYTHING I put in it).

I'll start using the 9mm for IDPA in the spring, but I'll carry the smaller .45!      ;)

Sounds like a great range trip. I let go of a RIA a few years ago and now I deeply regret it, very solid guns.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo
