Thinking of a childhood fantasy like going to Disney World is probably what helped him endure the weeks of not knowing if he would survive in the hole they were in.  Adult fantasies would tend add to frustration and feelings of isolation.

I know at least one of them was probably a little reluctant to emerge....seeing as he had a wife and girlfriend who had just recently found out about each other due to this happening.  :o

turns out he had split up from his mrs a couple of years ago  when he started out with this new Chick  however the Media over hear "forgot" to mention that bit  ::)
