     No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?  So, to ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people.. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling.

    Foot note: Fort Hood Texas ......another Muslim 39 years old killed 13 people and wounded 30 some odd others... Does this fit the profile!

I agree with a caveat. The downside of profiling is you tend to focus on the profile. All it takes is a white or asian or latino nut job without a muslim name to slip through. They have those. Search everybody.

Yes, there was Timothy McVeigh, in order to find another of that sort you have to go back to 1968, and the guy who blew up his Mother's (? might have been his wife ) plane.

I was thinking more in terms of Richard Reid, the Shoe Bomber, Jose Padilla, the guy who supposedly was planning a dirty bomb, and "Jihad" john Walker Lindt (sic?). All were muslims, but not middle-eastern. They had western names and none of them would have pinged a profile at the airport unless their files showing travel histories had already been flagged.

Got your meaning now. Lind (no "T" ) was present when the rebellion broke out in that Afghan Prison, he served as the interpreter while they tortured Mike Spann.
