ruger 22/45
« on: October 19, 2010, 06:17:28 PM »
Im looking into getting a 22/45 mod. 10140 with replaceable grips just wondering if anyone has  one or a different model mark lll and if they like it or if they like a different model mark lll better and why. im leaning for the 22/45 because i like the grip angle. I will be using it for shooting cans / plinking and just getting lead down range with out breaking the bank. thank you

I have the mark II version of the 22/45 and like it very much. BTW the plastic frame makes a bull barrel gun weigh the same as a steel frame with the skinny barrel.

I have the same model as jumbofrank.  Love it.  550 rounds last weekend without a hitch.

If you like it, that probably says the most. If you were to get something else, you'd always wonder how you would have liked the model you skipped on.

I was thinking that one of the Ruger 22/45 grip frame with a Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite upper would make a nice lightweight woods gun.
