NPR Turns on Juan Williams

In typical left leaning, loose sphincter fashion, NPR has turned on long time contributor Juan Williams, unexpectedly firing him over recent comments on the O'Reilly Factor. Evidently, in discussing O'Reilly's recent hubbub on the "View", Williams stated that he didn't think that all Muslims should be blamed for some radicals, but at the same time when he gets on an airplane and there are people on the plane who have dressed in order to fully identify themselves as Mulims he gets nervous.
Evidently the right of free speech does not allow someone to say what is on their mind. They are only free to say what is on the corporate program.

NPR has long been a committed advocate of Free Speech...  as long as it promotes the liberal idiot perspective. 

Disagree with the propaganda machine...?  That's a firing. 

While I have never particularly cared about Juan's opinion, I have noted that he is not usually a flaming lib-tard when commenting on any of the FOX News shows.  He maintains a certain decorum and doesn't resort to personal attacks.  And, he is being paid to present his opinions.  That's why he's there.

Expressing his personal view that seeing a mooslim on his plane causes him some concern should be viewed as nothing more than Juan presenting his opinion--one that he is certainly entitled to have.  I feel fairly certain that a large percentage of my fellow Americans would voice the same concern.  It should not result in his being fired.  After all, he was doing what he is paid to do--give his opinion.  But, the lib-tards aren't very tolerant with those who disagree with their stupidity.

It is much the same with N.O.W., (National Organization for Women), and the A.C.L.U. They are all for their cause only if it is of a liberal, far left perspective. Where was N.O.W. to defend Sarah Palin when she and her family were being viciously attacked in the media every 5 minutes? Or how about taking Jerry Brown's side in the whole Meg Whitman "Whore" fiasco? Where was the ACLU in defense of ANY conservative when their rights were infringed upon? These people are among the biggest hypocrites on the planet, and they are losing creditability each and every single day. They're voice is falling silent on a great many peoples ears because of it. These people have left behind the concept of shooting themselves in the foot. They're going straight for the temple with the first shot.   Bill T.

Williams is a screaming liberal but he was not afraid to debate his ideas with conservatives. That is outside the norm for the MSM.

He is already on their payroll as a "contributor" much like Palin is. They will no doubt expand his role just to shove the whole thing more into the liberals faces. I suspect this was more a contributing factor in his demise at N.P.R. than his muslim airliner comments were. They were looking for an excuse to get rid of him, and they finally found it. Actually while the national organization remains socialist, state ACLU chapters are starting to step up and defend gun owners and are forcing the national organization to review their policy toward the 2nd Amendment.
As for N.O.W., it previously received funding from communist front organizations, they were happy to attack Clarence Thomas, but they lost all their credibility when they stood by Clinton while he was being accused of everything from rape to having a bad haircut.
They have become about as relevant as the Bull Moose Party.
