I have to agree when it comes to Wal-Mart and the search for the all mighty dollar. If you think about it is a double edged sword, most of us won't buy our large purchases (firearms) from Wal-Mart because we want to support our local gun shop, but at the same time will visiting wallyworld for cleaning supplies, ammunition, targets and a lot of those small dollar items that for us
gun nuts really are part of our grocery list when visiting wallyworld. As for that, the guns will continue to move out walla walla land and prices will keep going up at the local stores. But, what is the alternative, letting Wal-Mart control the availability of firearms.
Although this may be good alternative, in the case when people really need them you can be sure Wal-Mart would have a 24 hour sell-a-thon in order to make their investors fat, rich and happy.
I can just imagine that footnote on their 10K now. Our spike in sales during the month of X was caused by the Democrats taking office and threatening to restrict future purchases of firearms, as such we could not keep enough product on our shelves thus resulting in our acquisition of Winchester, Kimber, and a few other well known firearms manufacturers in order to better control distribution channels. We further have worked out a deal, with the party in office, where a similar scare will be advertised mid-June every year, conveniently our slowest month. We expect to see a 15% gain in our firearms sales over the next 12 months....
What to do, What to do?
