Democrats Pressing Obama Not to Run Again

Share218Some senior personalities in the Democratic Party have discussed with President Obama's advisers the possibility of him not running for re-election in 2012, according to an influential Democratic Party operative speaking on condition of anonymity.
The operative, who is close to the Democratic leadership, did not indicate whether Obama was undecided about running again.
The question is how long or can we turn around the damage he has done in my opinion

By 2012 this guy will be in so deep of a hole, not only will he himself not want to run again, but Hillary will be all but a shoe in for the dems. Don't be so quick to write him off. The dumb azzes that voted for him in 08 will be  no smarter  in 2012.
That being said, We are better off if Obummer runs against a PO'd populace, no matter how shallow and selfish their motives, than if they put up another "Unknown" that no one hates yet.

I agree with Tom, but I have another fear, as well.  If the GOP makes the gains that are forecast in next week's election, BHO will be rendered impotent, if not irrelevant, for the remainder of his first term.  My fear is that the sheeple have short memories.  I can honestly envision a situation in 2012 where he is re-elected because "he hasn't been so bad" in people's recent memory.

Please let me be wrong.

Its the GOPs fault if he is. I mean who did they put up in 1996? Clinton was vulnerable and they gave us Dole. God knows I don't like W., but he has charisma and was a breath of fresh air against Gore, the wooden boy. He was a fresh start and won. Carter vs Ford, Clinton vs HW? The lesser man won in both races, but they did it by offering (dare I say it, hope and change). The American people were fed up and wanted something new. IF the GOP comes up with an attractive and non-polarizing candidate in 2012, I think they have a very good chance. I'm sure not writing them off. All they need to do is avoid a hack like Romney or a love'em or hate'em figure like Palin.

BHO's head and ego are too big, his "master plan" is too important to go "quietly" back into the Kenyan, Chicago night in 2012. He already used the term "enemies" as those that oppose His agenda......

He'll be there, I hope Hillary cleans his clock, and sends him home early....

At least "W" was a POTUS that loved and respected the country and military, perhaps that's a start for a for a candidate in 2012.

Don't write off this election as won quite yet.

I was wondering why the Dem leaders were so positively passive about this election. Think all of the voter fraud that has surfaced might have something to do with it? Ya know, like in Chicago, the fix is in?

The SEIU controls the voting machines in many of the states - key states - and there have been numerous reports of people selecting Angle and getting Reid instead, or the guy that voted straight Rep only to have it record as straight Dem. The massive violations of the MOVE act in IL and NY, which assclown Holder et al. let go.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. It is worse than we know, and will get worse yet.
