OK, Tuesday Is "Slaughter Day" How Bad ???
« on: November 01, 2010, 06:49:13 PM »
Let's make predictions. How bad, or rather GOOD?? I'll go on record as saying it will be better than the polls even predict. I'm thinking a Republican sweep. Boxer OUT. Ohio a complete Republican takeover. I'm praying for Wittman and O'Donnell. Nothing would please me more. For over 2 years we've been eating these peoples socialist's crap, now they WILL BE GONE!!! How about you? What do you think?   Bill T.

Pelosi, forced into retirement, as well as Reid. Boxer, gets called ma'am for the rest of her life getting breakfast at Waffle House.

CT, is polling for Blumenthal, despite lying about his Non service in Vietnam, as well as Kalifornia showing Moonbeam ahead, albeit slightly.

Delaware about as bad as CT, with Coombs. A former Communist slightly ahead.

The House goes GOP, but is getting a wake up call to establishment RINO's,.... Hope the Senate gets 10 seats, but probable.

The RINO's like Graham, and McCain need to get a reality slap for the new blood comin'. Come next cycle they very well be next.

Hope the "slaughter" shakes that tree of Liberty to it's core.  It's the message. Congressional approval is in the 9-13%

Yet Bawney Frank, Charlie Rangel, stay in..... >:(

I think anyone who puts serious money on anything other than the GOP taking the House is betting on emotion. Remember that the GOP takeover in 1994 was only partially about anti-Clinton(version 1.0) backlash. There had been a campaign finance bill passed earlier that forbade members of Congress who didn't run again from pocketing unused campaign contributions. 1994 was the last year to retire and pocket all that lobbyist money. After that you had to (gasp!) donate it. So a whole lot of incumbents, mostly Dems as they were the majority, retired. Given that incumbents tend to be re-elcted at well over 90%, this was a huge GOP advantage. That isn't true this year. Remember, everyone hates Congress, but they love Congresman Bubba becuse, hey, just look at that Army base/new bridge/tax break he just "gave" us. >:( I think what you'll see is red districts that went blue in '06 and '08 out of anti-Bush sentiment returning to business as usual and dumping freshman Dems. I also think you'll see purple districts go red. Still, I wouldn't hold my breath for a "night of the long knives". Of course, I've been wrong before. ;D

They will sweep Ohio, including the governorship. They will also take governors races in many states across the country. Ohio is a Presidential bellwether state. That, along with all of the other governors races they are expected to win will lead to a lot of redistricting of Congressional districts. This is going to make it much more difficult for democrats in the 2012 election because basic electoral framework will change. Not to mention no Presidential candidate has ever won the White House without winning Ohio. Pennsylvania is another key Presidential state the Republicans are poised to do well in. I think many of these so called "close" races are going to wind up not being so close. Many of these polls are as slanted as the media outlets reporting them.   Bill T.

All polls give the Dums a 5 -15% advantage, plus the +/- 2-3 % margin of error if the Rep polls as close as close to the Dem then the R will usually win

except for vote fraud and I think we will see a lot of that in key races.

Heard on the news today that Gallop poll had the Dems at best losing 55 house seats.  Gallop average error rtae since 1955 for midterm elections has been 1%.

I wasn't really sure where the best place to put this, but I wanted to share it.  I figured yall would have some comments on it.

I got this from the status of one of my facebook "friends."

"Is thinking if Dr. Bentley becomes governor of Alabama I think we will see slavery again!!!!! I guess the Republicans will take over Congress well there goes bipartisanship!!!!"

I'm not sure what's scarier:  The fact that he believes this. The fact that he supposedly thought this statement out first.  The fact that he thought the total Democratic control and actions over the last 2 years were bipartisan.  or The fact that he gets to vote.
