Spending those years in the southern part of the land of fruits and nuts I was faced with a few odd situations.  However, I learned a lesson that Walt Rauch is fond of pointing out - Don't walk around like sheep!  Be grissle!  I didn't know it, but my size at an early age made me appear to be the one in the crowd they didn't want to mess with.

Because a majority isn't a majority until it gets organized. Until it does, its just a bunch of guys milling around and bitching. The only majority that matters is "The largest number of political actors organized, united and moving towards a common agenda". The rest can pound sand as far as public oficials are concerned. Unless and until we organize, we aren't a majority, just bystanders. Here endeth the lesson. :-\

School Responds: Boy Forced to Remove Flag for His Own ‘Safety,’ Can Fly it Again



School officials in Denair, CA have responded to the controversy surrounding a boy forced to remove an American flag from his bike on school grounds due to “racial tensions.” The school’s superintendent is now saying that the boy was told to remove the flag out of concerns for his safety, and that the school will allow him to resume his flag flying:
