I rode one once. ONCE! One of my "loyal" students invited me to a sheriff's posse rodeo practice. Three beers later and riding a starter bull seemed like a good idea. In the chute with 2,000 pounds of pissed off animal? Not so much. At first I thought "I can do 8 seconds". Then I thought, "Oh lord, what if I do? How do I get off this thing  without getting killed"? Fortunately, it wasn't an issue. ;D :-[
FQ13 who learned he can bounce, run and levitate over a fence. Never again! ;D ;D ;D
