Go Gene Go!...and God Bless Our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines!
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

Gene is a smart, patriotic man, something a lot of peeps don't know, he was interviewed and I para phrase, but was asked about the war in the middle east, terrorist in particular, and He is from there, He said " No you cannot negotiate with them, they want to kill you and your family, and the only thing that will stop them is killing them "

Saw him interviewed on a business talk show.   VERY smart and savvy man.   I do not enjoy his music or his style of show, but he's very good at his market niche.

ADDENDUM:

Now having watch the video, I think I will enjoy his music a little bit more now.

Will work for ammo

Long time KISS fan....cool video.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

And honestly, how hard is this? If you make your money selling records to 16-25 year olds, what the hell is your  excuse for not entertaining the troops? If Afghanistan is too much for you, what about South Korea, or Gitmo or Kosovo? Hell, go to Fort Bragg. Even Emeril managed that one. ::) How hard is it? The USO foots the bill, all you have to do is show up. Why should they get "The fogies of rock"? I mean, due respect to Gene Simmons, but where are all the guys and gals making millions now? You can't take a plane ride, eat bad food and spend a week of your life for these guys and gals? They'll be the most appreciative audience you've ever seen. Why aren't you there? >:(

And that appreciation can last generations.
I bet every member of this board knows who Bob Hope was, and appreciates him for what he did for 4 or 5 generations of troops.
