Bob Munden - Super Humans

Missed this episode, but a friend sent the link to youtube video.
The old man is sudden.

Fast FWD about 2 minutes in to get to his segment.

Two aimed shots, at combat distance in less that a 1/10th of a second. :o :o :o Sweet Lord! There are really aren't words for that. I now know who never to piss off. ;D

Those of us here already knew Bob was ridiculously fast.
The thing that cracks me up though is like NRA Police Practical shooting competition, this pot gutted old fart is an athlete who has honed his ability to a level where he is just unbeatable.
If you saw him sitting in a coffee shop you would never think to put him in a class of athlete that Lance Armstrong can only dream of  ;D

Its a shame a S/A only holds 6 cartridges, he could clean up a bad neighbourhood real quick!

He is also a hell of a gunsmith from what I understand.

I saw an interview with him once and if I can find it I'll post. He was basically laughing at himself in a sense because of his 'hyped act'........ some people think he is an arrogant ass, because of his 'shtick or routine' and the way he sometimes 'plays up' his abilities....but in a sense he was saying is was just a big put on.





Saw this little unrelated, but interesting, tid-bit on one of the pages at his website:

I've seen Mr. Munden shoot on Impossible Shot, but never for speed there.

Cisco shoots the single action for speed/accuracy on that show and I've been impressed with his shooting.

But seeing Munden hit those two balloons was hard to believe  (pulling 10g's during his draw is unreal too).  I didn't at first...I thought I misunderstood what he was doing and that he had them lined up to shoot them with one shot.  Even in slow motion he is amazing.  The scientist was professional enough to not let  his jaw hang open when he was doing his measurements.

He didn't shot with a "beep start" so he would be slower with that.  At his age, his reaction will be less than it was years ago, but you can't take much from that man's ability.

I'd love to see Mr. Munden and Cisco do the two balloon shot from a timer start head to head.

That test is something he does on every exhibition he puts on. Bob's 2 shots that sound like one has been on American Shooter, and a couple other places. I love watching him shoot, but they're just amazed because they've never seen him shoot before. ;D
