No regrets so far, of course I've only owned/traded a small number of guns.  Right now I'm thinking of trading my M1 Carbine toward an AR, which (if I do) would be my first regret I'm sure.

Cameras - there are many I wish I still owned:  Minolta CLE w/2 lenses, Contax G1, Konica Hexar, Nikon F2SB, Olympus OM1, Olympus XA...

I wouldn't regret it, unless you have the cash to buy the AR outright. The M1 is a fun little gun and easy to shoot, but so is the AR, and its a lot more lethal. Thats not PC, but when were we ever PC? ;D. The guns were designed for the same thing. An M-forgery is just better at the job. There are times I mis my M1, but then I realize I probably wouldn't shoot it much if I still owned it. I'd rather spend the time and dollars feeding the AR. Thats just my .02 though. If you can have both, its better. If not, make the trade and don't think twice about it.

That's my dilemma, I like shooting it and finally got it to be 100% reliable.  I love the look but hate the price of and extremely limited selection of ammunition.  I'm in a similar quandary with my 92FS.  It's been nothing but dependable and more accurate than I'll ever be, but I'm not completely in love with it.  I can't justify the expense of an outright purchase of anything new right now.

I've got 4 options running through my head:  1. Trade the 92 and/or the M1 in to help pay for an AR.  2. Trade the M1 in toward a Beretta CX4 Storm and keep the 92 (same ammo and magazines).  3. Trade the 92 and/or the Carbine in toward a .357 lever rifle (same ammo as my wheel guns).  4. Wait until I can build up my Priority Club points again (free gun), but that could take quite a while.  If I use the 92 as a trade, that leaves me without a semi-auto pistol, but I can save up my points and get a Glock (yes I said Glock) or XDM next year.

Ah Hell, since I most likely won't get to the range until Spring, I should just wait.  Thanks for your time.   :)

If you decide to start doing some trading for an AR shoot me an email or IM, I'm always pretty AR heavy. As far as the trade you regret, I have one. I don't regret making the trade since it was basically a life and death situation that I won't go into details over but it had to be done. I do however regret that I'll probably never be able (or at least justify) replace my Bren-Ten Special Forces Model. I think the closest I'll get is getting one of the new ones VLTOR is making if or when they ever bring them to market. It won't be the original so the value is nowhere near the same but at least the "new, improved" model has ambi or reversible safety and uses EAA Witness mags. If I still had the original the mags alone are running about 3 bills each now.

It seemed like a good idea at the time......, but the gun I miss the most is a High Standard Sentinal Mk. IV, 9 shot 22 magnum revolver.   I used it in a trade for a larger caliber pistol, but in hind-sight it wasn't such a good trade.  If I could find one in a local gun store or pawn shop, I'd buy it.  A terrific little hide-out gun.

There is not one single time that I sold or traded a gun that I do not regret.
You can never have too many guns, or too much ammo

I traded a S&W Model 65 that I wish I had back. That's why I don't trade anymore. Just need more safe space ;)
