After seeing this clip, I checked both the cards I carry all the time - now I need to call the banks and see if I can get cards WITHOUT the stupid chips in them. Grrrrrr.

RFID technology will eventually be embedded in ALL of our cards, including driver's licenses.  I plan on purchasing a RFID blocking wallet, as I am due for a new one anyway.  If you don't want to go that route, several companies also make sleeves which prevent theft while allowing you to carry your existing wallet.  I would provide links for individual companies, but Amazon carries just about all of them.

RFID will NOT be embedded in NH drivers licenses per order of the State Supreme Court.
NH was one of the States that refused to go along with the "RealID" program as the State SC deemed it to violate the States Constitutional provisions for Privacy.
While you are getting rid of your RFID equiped Credit cards you may want to at least check, if not trade your H&K pistols as several models of them have been so equipped for some time now.

Is there some way to fry the RFID chip without damaging the magnetic strip? I'd heard that microwaving it for 3 seconds would do the trick, but I'm hesitant to try it....
