Compact Tokarev, Same grip size but with a 3 inch barrel.

TAB, Why would the .223 not work in the X frame, is the cartridge to long ?

rat, I think they DO make a 7mm 08 upper for the AR, I forget which company though.

it would fit just fine.  bottle neck cartridges in wheel guns tend to push the case back and bind up.

Smith was working on a protype for a bit, but could never get it to work.

How about a Hi Point carbine in 25 Tok or 9x18.
Only without that ridiculus looking stock.

It was .41 Action Express.

Not this one.  ;)  http://www.gunsamerica.com/977002756/Guns-For-Sale/Gun-Auctions/Pistols/Desert-Eagle-IMI-Pistols/Desert-Eagle/Desert_Eagle_41_Mag_6_and_10_barrels.htm

They even had a kit you could buy with .357, .41, and .44 magnum barrels, etc. all with one frame.

The last time I checked through Remington, it wasn't an option.

I'll look again.

Any AR-10 can be re-barreled for any of the .308 based calibers.

.243(6mm), 260Remington (6.5mm), 7mm-08, .308, .338 Fed(8mm) and .358Winchester(9mm)

All same pressure levels, same case.
Will work for ammo

My sons MkIII had some 'teething' problems but after about 1500 rounds or so it started eating anything.  We run mostly Rem or Fed from Wally World (the 'bulk' bricks).
