Winter Solstice/Lun ar Eclipse

Right now on the east coast. Sorry ...I forgot to post it earlier.

It is almost totally amber colored in the southern zone. Won't happen on the winter solstice again for another 84 years.

Dense cloud cover out here in Kalifornistan prevented us seeing anything.  It's been raining so hard we couldn't keep the bonfire lit.  Had to dance around nekkid in the garage while howling at a heat lamp.  Shortage of virgins has eliminated that part of the celebration.  Prob'ly a good thing we won't get to a celebrate solstice/eclipse for another 500 years or so since maybe the neighbors will have forgot by then.  Sheesh!

Guess I got lucky.
Went to wally world about 1:00 or so (best time to go to avoid crowds) and when we got back at 3:15 it was clear with no clouds.

I missed the eclipse but noticed the moon looked very large.
