I might just be a reneck, but it sounds like a most excellent idea to me. Definately unique. Still, wouldn't cleaning all the nose prints off it get tiresome?

Local dealer is offering buy 4 get 1 free deal.  Only thing is I only need the free one.

Coffee table would be cool.  I'd be willing to consult on the lighting.  Translucent bottom and LED panels around the inside.  Slow fade from blue to red to white.  Maybe timed to time-of-day or ambient lighting.
