Greenies and Normal People

If a normal person doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.

If a Greenie doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a normal person is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat.

If a Greenie is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a normal person is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.

If a Greenie is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a normal person is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.

A Greenie wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a normal person doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.

A Greenie demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a normal person is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.

A Greenie non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
(Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)

If a normal person doesnt like fishing, he doesnt go fishing...

If a Greenie doesnt like fishing, he doesnt want anybody else to fish either.

If a normal person reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have a good  laugh.

A Greenie will delete it because he's "offended."

And this Phil, is the great tragedy of our current era. People think that they have the "right' not to be offended. ::) The greens, the feminists, the lefties, the muslims, the race merchants, the Christian Right, hell, some former members of this board. If you contradict their opinions, you are suddenly violating their rights. ::) Its a cold hard world. We have to live in it. The only way to do so civilly  is in the Democratic Republic laid out by classical liberalism. It lays out a very simple social contract. Lassiez faire. You tolerate behavior you consider objectionable on the part of your neighbors, and they extend the same courtesy to you. You do that, and we can all get along. You don't? You have your choice of tyranny or civil war. Why is that so hard to understand? ???

I really hate "greenies"  They make the brady bunch look logical.

For the most part they are a bunch of "hop on the bus" kind of people.   If it sounds good lets do it, heaven forbid you research something.  CFL comes to mind.
