Here is an example of wasteful government spending, this buffoon (only gun expert in the room) is an unnecessary paycheck.

To be fair Mort, he may be a really good  cop.
He just sux as a safety instructor  ;D

To rephrase his court complaint, He made an ass of himself, it happens to us all on occasion.
Buy did it have to go viral on YouTube ?    :-[

I don't care how good of a cop he is, he has demostrated that he can't safely handle a firearm, there for he should not be allowed to carry one= he should have pink slip.

I also think a AD is grounds for losing your CCW.

Just like when people hurt themselfs with power tools, its almost always user error.

I used that clip in a safety briefing at work.
Prefaced it by saying we all consider ourselves professionals.

Also had one of a Clark County deputy shooting her partner while he handcuffed a suspect.

IS this guy still employed by DEA? You'd think cranking off a live round in a crowded clasroom full of kids would get your ass fired. I mean, it wasn't just a range whoopsie here.

I have seen this video many times and everytime I see it I can't help but think how big of an idiot this guy is.

He has that Over Confident Bravado that turns my stomach....

If you watch the video carefully, he never really visually inspects the firearm or attempts to look into the chamber of this firearm...unless he does so off camera when he shows it to the other person....He violates several safety rules and has endangered those present...

If he wasn't fired...he should have been.

I witnessed the Accidental Discharge of a 12 ga shotgun into the ceiling at an indoor range where I was Assistant Range Master at the time.
The man who fired the gun was the Instructor conducting a re-qualification class for the local United States Marshall office.
He admitted that he had pulled the trigger and he said what everyone says...I didn't know the gun was loaded.

I love watching that video.
The moron, and that's giving him too much credit I fear, is a classic example of federal professionalism. Don't we all feel safer knowing him and his kind are out there protecting us?

If you have reason to see the quality of Federal Law Enforcement hired after 911 you will see this isn't unusual. We have some of the best people on the job working to protect America from its enemy's  but we also have plenty of clowns full of their own importance.

He should have been relieved and enrolled in the "Eddie Eagle" Program.
Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.
