well, hopefully now with a Republican controlled House we won't see ever increasing socialism forced down our throats.

The House is like a "governor" in that respect.

Did you all know they make about $160 to $170 grand a year?

How about this...the pols all need to get paid the median income for us Americans?

They get a pay raise when we get a pay raise...a rising tide lifts all boats kinda thing.

 This change was a smaller improvement then I hoped for. With the rise of the Tea Party "the inner circle", "beltway insiders" or just plain career politicians have shown me where their loyalties are. Carl Rove supported RINO Mike Castle against Christine O'Donnell, Barbara Bush made insulting comments about Sarah Palin and in an interview with Brian Williams John Boehner is eager to compromise with the Dems and co-op the new house members. He also said that if the state of Hawaii claims BO was born there it is good enough for him, while I am not a birther I want the records produced. Last rumor I read is that he is actually the son of a black American and BO senior is not his real father.

Rank and file salary is $174,000 annually, leaders are over 193K and the Speaker is 223.5K as of 2010..

the get an annual COLA increase UNLESS the vote NOT to accept it...

I made about 75K last year and I got about a grand in the bank...the rest is my mattress...these f@#kers deserve the gallows...
