When I was young my Dad use to tell me...You can fight with boys your own age but leave the old guys alone.  They won't fight with you, they'll just kill you.

The fact that the kid was even offended speaks volumes. Its poor parenting skills. He should get a refund, or at least an apology from his folks. Your dad has a few obligatiions. One of the most important ones is to teach you this. "Don't die in such a manner that your tombstone reads: What did he think would happen". ::)

All too common these days. More often than not I find myself embarrassed by people even my own age. (32) My generation, and those behind me have high opinions of themselves and no skills to back it up. They have no respect for others, especially their elders, and most could be classified as narcissistic. Humility, and respect have no place in their lives. It's a culture of me, and of instant gratification. No one ever considers consequences anymore. Probably because trial lawyers have created a situation where people are no longer held accountable for their actions.  >:(

Apparently these kids don't realize that a round of golf in some areas far exceeds the price of their little radio controlled car.

Around here, a semi-private course might cost you 150 bucks for an early tee time on the weekends.  It's one of the reasons I stopped playing.  I couldn't justify the cost anymore.

Score one for the old guys!

Idiot kept hitting into us on the GC.  We slowed so they could catch and pass us but they wouldn't!  At the turn they finally caught up and I politely told them "with Driver in hand" that if they did it again I was going to wrap it around their neck!  Think I surprised my partners and shook others standing around but they didn't do it again.  LOL

PS:  It is a Muni Park course with Rangers.  One stopped us and I explained what happened and he drove off.
