smooth trigger action on a 22 revolver

I have two Taurus that I bought a decade ago.  An ultra lite 2" 9 shot 22lr and a model 94 revolver.  The latter is close to a 20# trigger pull, and Taurus will NOT adjust it or tell my dealer than it was not adjustable.  We are trying a gunsmith to see if he can do it.

I have the use of 1 hand hand, and shoot at a range thus I can't use a pistol.  No way to rack the slide or clear jams at the range.

I've looked at S&W.22 revolvers, too heavy for me and costly.  Plus the performance center won't adjust it.

Charter Arms is a non starter.

I need an easy action 4" .22.

Any ideas?

Welcome Papabear.  Have you thought about or tried a single action revolver?  Much better trigger pull on those.

S/A is out, I'd have a better time running, and since I can't.
You forget that my problem is that I have only 1 hand.  It be great to shoot, but a reload?  Probably 5 minutes as I've tried it with my friends Ruger

The model 94 with a 4 inch barrel even the dealer had a hard time.

That why I'm looking for a reasonable, sweet trigger  pull on another make.

Welcome....sounds like you are on the right track by getting a gunsmith involved. Any competent gunsmith can work wonders on most modern DA revolvers.......especially the Taurus.

Another option would involve a lot of looking in gun shops for a good used revolver that fills your particular needs. I don't know that I can point to any particular brand because trigger pull is so subjective. I've always had good luck with Taurus revolvers and they are some of the most economical out there.

You can get a pretty good deal on any used 4" .38. These days folks seem to want either snubbies or .357s and up. Gander offered me the princely sum of $175 for a late sixties 4" Smith (and this was in trade ). I declined of course, but you can find the same gun for around $400. I'd bet it would be the same for Rugers. Personally, if the gunsmith can't fix it, I'd start looking at older police models. Every PD in country got rid of them in the late '80s and they should mostly be in good shape. Some holster wear, but not many rounds. Most are 4-6 inches give or take and will have fixed sights, depressing their value, but dandy for SD. Good luck.
