I doubt the duct tape would have held as in the movie, He was slick with sweat, even duct tape won't stick to water, and he only had 2 cartridges left, 1st one sure, second one maybe, you got duct tape, you got Glock tape it up and give a range report, will probably be positive, but only how much tape will know. A little plus, hopefully some of you will like, I had a good friend on Dallas Swat, not a gung ho soldier, but smart, small and agile, with some really good knowledge that at times he would share, He worked nights mostly and after work would jog around the police station, south Dallas is not the coolest place to be around at night, his method of carry was a Glock 19 in his shooting hand, covered with a black sock, yes a foot sock, 1 night as he was passing a warehouse, the gate was open and he was attacked by a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog, used for protection by the owner of the warehouse, he shot and killed the dog, of course the Glock only fired 1 round' bound as it was until he pulled the sock off and racked the slide, the owner was quite upset, and confronted my friend, who at that point displayed his badge and just let him know, his best course of action, was to tend to his dog and not allow this to happen again.
Wonder what MB and Rob might have to say about this method of carry?
