I have been busy and not on the forum latley but I ran across this on line. Sorry if it has already been posted but the passing of another one of the greatest generation should be noted.

If I remember correctly, Major Winters died Jan. 2.  It was his wish to not have the news broadcast until after his funeral.  I too stumbled across this and was saddened at his passing.  There aren't too many men of his caliber left on the planet.
The person who has nothing for which his is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

He helped free our country. We owe him.
