WYO to allow concealed carry w/o permit?
« on: January 19, 2011, 10:44:04 AM »
Caught just the tail end of this on the radio this morning. I am frantically looking for updates as to the status of this bill. I don't know if this was a preliminary vote or a final, but as I get the info I will update. What I did hear for certain was that there was only 1 opposition vote.

Rep. Pete Jorgensen, D-Jackson, went further, saying that loosening gun control regulations, except for hunting, would be dangerous to everyone.

"I've been in situations in other countries working where I'm glad I didn't have a gun," said Jorgensen, who served overseas in the U.S. Army. "I've not sure I would've controlled myself."

Funny how the anti's are always stating that since they can't trust themselves they think everyone will be the same.  Project much?

Self control and personal responsibility are the traits of a REAL man/woman. It's how you can easily tell the difference.

I had that very conversation with a guy the other day. He made a comment about "If I'd had a gun", Something about his lawyer or banker or something. I gave him "The lecture", about responsibility, and added a lesson on liberal projection.  ;D

The libs just don't get it--they think everybody will react as they would:  without self-control.  Florida is now considering an open carry statute.  The opposition  claims this will result in a blood-bath.  PROJECTION--it's an evil thing.

This from Crusader Rabbit, who has carried (legally) for 15+ years, and has never shot anybody in anger.

(but I'm getting the urge)
“I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either.”  Chris Kyle
