Alright I'll pose this question.

Is it better to shoot someone in anger, or fear? Legally fear makes the better argument, BUT tactically I think that anger would be the better emotion to consult. I think that MOST people have a much better control over anger, than fear. I believe this is why you see so many training courses that teach you that your first thought at a lethal confrontation should be "How dare you threaten me!"

I would have to say that it is a toss up, Angry people react quickly, but without thought of consequences.
Fear can make you careful but often the first reaction is to freeze up.
It seems to me that the best is a calm "Taking care of business" mindset. You are a "Bad guy", it's your job to menace me. It's my job to prevent that.

I've often thought of this guideline.

Let your emotions be your driving force, let your reason do the driving.

Regardless of whether your first reaction is anger or fear, keep reason in control and respond with as much anger as you can.

I somehow don't think you are gonna get a lot of argument out of Washington on the states allowing concealed or open carry. I think their ultimate agenda is to try and trump it all with the U.N. Small Arms Treaty. They will attemp to overrule the states rights regarding guns with an international treaty. They will use "Superior reading of the rules" like they always do with the 1st, 2nd and 14th Amendment.  Proof in the pudding will be if the states unite and overrule it. It will be interesting to see the outcome. The Clintons and BO will no doubt attempt it. Let's just sit back and watch......
